Farewell Traffic Lights and Other Stuff

Downtown Opelika is losing two more intersections with traffic lights, to be replaced with four-way stop signs.  The one at 8^th and Avenue A turned red on all sides and stay that way for over a minute.  The other being replaced is also on Avenue A at 9^th.

Another successful Halloween avoided the kids wanting candy.  Like me, others sought refuge at Wild Wing Café and Whistle Stop Tap Room downtown.  I should mention that I also saw the City Manager last night, who noted that I hadn’t complained much lately.  I’ll have to get on that; there must be something.
